SPIRITUAL LIFE

Spiritual development is at the heart of everything we do at Community Christian School. We believe that true education must address the whole person — heart, soul, mind, and strength. That’s why we’re committed to providing daily opportunities for students to grow in their relationship with Christ and to apply biblical principles in real and lasting ways.

Our students begin each day with prayer and devotionals in the classroom. Once a week, the entire student body gathers for chapel — a time of worship, teaching, and fellowship that brings our school community together under one name: Jesus. Chapel services are student-friendly, Spirit-led, and often feature messages from local pastors, guest speakers, and faculty members. These moments provide inspiration, challenge, and spiritual depth for every age group.

But spiritual life at CCS extends beyond chapel. Teachers integrate biblical truth into every subject, showing students how God’s Word applies to literature, science, history, and everyday life. Students are encouraged to engage with Scripture, ask questions, and develop a personal relationship with Jesus that is rooted in truth and grace. They also participate in outreach projects, mission opportunities, and community service events that help them put their faith into action.

We view spiritual formation not as an add-on, but as the core of who we are. Our desire is to graduate students who not only know the Bible, but who know how to live it — students who are secure in their identity in Christ and ready to be salt and light in their homes, churches, colleges, and communities.
