OUR MISSION, VALUES, & FAITH
Our Mission
“To equip students to walk in truth, embrace excellence, and impact the world for Christ.”
Our mission is more than a slogan — it’s our daily focus. At Community Christian School, we believe that true education must develop the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. Our goal is not only to prepare students academically but to disciple them spiritually and help them discover who they are in Christ.
Core Values:
- Biblical Authority: We teach and uphold the Bible as the inerrant, life-giving Word of God. It informs our worldview, shapes our curriculum, and directs our community values.
- Academic Excellence: We pursue high academic standards to ensure that every student is prepared to succeed in life and leadership.
- Christ-Centered Community: Our faculty and staff are all committed believers who model Christlike behavior and guide students with love and truth.
- Discipleship: Spiritual growth is not confined to chapel—it happens daily through conversations, mentorship, and biblical integration across all subjects.
- Partnership with Families: We work closely with parents to nurture each child’s development and guide them toward a life rooted in God’s truth.
- Character & Leadership: We develop students who lead by example, serve others, and live with integrity and compassion.
Community Christian School’s Statement of Faith forms the foundation of all we teach, believe, and practice. It is the framework for our curriculum, student life, discipline policy, and community standards. Every faculty and staff member affirms this statement and is committed to living it out daily.
We Believe:
- The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, and is the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
- There is one true God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and will return again in glory.
- Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and it is a free gift available to all who believe.
- The Holy Spirit indwells every believer and empowers them to live a godly life and witness to others.
- The Church is the body of Christ, made up of believers everywhere, called to worship, serve, and share the Gospel.
- God created mankind in His image, and human life is sacred from conception to natural death.
- Marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect His relationship with the Church.
