FINE ARTS

At Community Christian School, we believe the arts are a powerful way for students to glorify God and express the creativity He has placed within them. Our Fine Arts Program exists to inspire and develop young artists, musicians, designers, and performers in a Christ-centered environment that encourages excellence, authenticity, and purpose.

From early elementary through high school, students at CCS have opportunities to explore a wide variety of artistic disciplines. Our visual arts curriculum includes drawing, painting, mixed media, and design, while our performance arts program offers theatre, worship band, and drama productions. These creative outlets allow students to build confidence, think critically, and express ideas that reflect God’s beauty and truth.

Our worship band, composed of high school students, leads chapel worship and other special events throughout the year. This is more than just a music program — it’s a discipleship opportunity where students learn how to lead others into God’s presence through skill and humility. In addition, students can participate in drama productions, showcasing their talents in acting, stage design, and storytelling with messages rooted in faith.

We also offer electives in photography and graphic design, equipping students with real-world creative skills while encouraging them to use their talents for kingdom purposes. Whether a student plans to pursue the arts professionally or simply wants to grow in creative expression, our Fine Arts Program provides a welcoming space to be challenged, inspired, and celebrated.

At CCS, we honor the arts because we honor the Artist — the Creator of all things. We’re proud to offer a Fine Arts experience that develops skill while nurturing the soul.
